Jules works from her Folkestone home studio to paint land and seascapes inspired by the local coastline and countryside. She works with a mixed media of house paint, acrylics, watercolour and oil pastels to create pieces full of subtly layered colour and texture. Her aim is to provide an impression or suggestion rather than a literal representation, allowing the viewer to read their own interpretation. And her hope is that the layers of colour and texture, within the overall serene compositions and ethereal style, will absorb the viewer.

Her commission pieces, original paintings and limited edition giclee prints have travelled to all parts of the UK and beyond to Ireland, Canada, the US and China.
